Nojimu Adetunji Amusa, MSc., PhD.

Professor of Molecular Plant pathology, and 

Former Vice Chancellor Southwestern University Nigeria.

Dr Nojimu Adetunji Amusa, is a Professor and former Vice-Chancellor Southwestern University, Ogun State, Nigeria and was the pioneering Vice-Chancellor of The West African Union University, Cotonou, Republic of Benin.

Dr Amusa graduated from the Ogun State University (Now, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye with a Degree of Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Microbiology, obtained M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Plant Pathology at the University of Ibadan.

Dr Amusa academic appointments included lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Biology University of Ibadan, Senior Research Fellow at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Institute of Agricultural Research and Training, Moor Plantation, Ibadan and Professor of Molecular Plant Pathology at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.

Dr. Amusa has published more than 140 scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and authored several books in the area of biology, agriculture and food science. Dr. Amusa was a managing Editor of More Journal of agricultural Science, currently he is the Editor -In- Chief of the African Journal of Agricultural Research.
