Joseph T. Isaac, Ed.D.
President
Joe is former president of AME University; former vice president of the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies, Cuttington University; former vice president for administration and professor at Tubman University; Executive director, campus operations (facilities & planning) at Baltimore City Community College. He has more than 30 years track record in corporate and higher education leadership; including over two decades higher education leadership and faculty experience. Dr. Isaac is a strategic and master planning expert with work experience at several community colleges and universities. His higher education leadership roles also include serving a chairman of a community college Board of Trustees, and service on numerous education, and business and industry boards.
Joe holds a Doctor of Education degree in higher education leadership and a Master of Science in city & regional planning from Morgan State University. His undergraduate education includes Bachelor of Science in construction engineering, and Associate of Applied Science in architectural engineering from University of the District of Columbia. His research interests include leadership development, organizational development, higher education planning, environmental scanning, innovation in teaching and learning, curriculum of relevance, among other topics. Dr. Isaac is author of the book “The 5 Laws of Strategic Planning, a Handbook for College and University Strategy”.
